Composition
It comprises of two hollow cylinders that are closed at one end and available with tight fitting covers at the other end, where both are mounted on a shaft at an angle of 30 degrees on the axis of rotation. The shaft revolves at 30-33 RPM by a reduction gear that is paired up to a motor apt for operation on 440 volts, 3 phase and A.C. supply. The unit is offered with a revolution counter as well as abrasive charges.

Dorry Abrasion Testing Machine comprises of a flat circular grinding lap, rotating in a horizontal plane at 28-30 RPM. The grinding lap is driven by a motor with the help of reduction gears. Machine Components
The machine comprises a hollow cylinder that is mounted on a robust frame on ball bearings. A detachable shelf that spreads throughout the inner length of the drum catches the abrasive charge without allowing it to fall on the cover. The drum is revolved at a speed of 30-33 RPM through an electric motor by a heavy duty reduction gear. Motor is apt for operation on 3 phase, 440 volts, and A.C. supply. The unit is offered with a tray for accumulation of the material with abrasive charge. It is also offered with 12 nos. hardened steel balls (Abrasive Charge) of 48mm dia.

Air Entrainment Meter comprises of a pressure tight flanged cylindrical measuring bowl, attached with a conical cover assembly having a seal in-between and changeable flanged. The conical cover consists of an air valve and a pet cock ideal for bleeding-off the water. A graduated cylindrical stand pipe is fixed on the conical cover assembly. Needed pressure is put to the specimen by the help of a pressure bulb. The complete assembly is mounted on a flat base.
